The Eastmorland Community Association (ECA) will hold its 15th annual Leaf Raking Party at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 9, 2019 (rain date 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 10).
Please plan to join us as we go around our neighborhood to rake yards for those of our neighbors who would like to rake, but are physically unable to because of health reasons. Everyone is invited to participate. We especially need volunteers to help rake.
Meet at the Whitman/Johnson residence at 3701 Dennett Dr. (corner of Dennett and Ring; home phone: 244-6654; cell phone: 228-6654) at 9:00 am (or 1:00 pm on the rain date).
We’ll disperse in small groups from there. Please bring your own rake, gloves, and a plastic tarp if you have one. ECA will provide beverages and light snacks at 9:00 am on Saturday (or 1:00 pm on the rain date).
After the raking, volunteer rakers and members of the households whose yards were raked are invited to a potluck at the Whitman/Johnson residence. The potluck will begin at approximately 11:30 am on Saturday (or 3:30 pm on the rain date).
Pizza and beverages will be provided. Please bring something to share, such as a salad, dessert, or other munchies. Kids are welcome to attend.
