Apply for an ECA Grant 💰
Neighborhood Grant:
As of 2021, ECA is pleased to announce a ‘neighborhood grant program’! Have you paid your ECA dues this year? Do you want to host a service or social event with your neighbors? Then this program is for you! Find out more by reading on below and find the application form on www.eastmorland.org. Reach out to the ECA President with an email to info@eastmorland.org with any questions.
Funding applications will be reviewed the Board of Directors and members at the next ECA meeting following receipt of the grant application and payment of dues by one or more persons involved with the event. Funding will be allocated to a maximum of $100 for each grant for up to four grants per year. Anyone over the age of 18 who lives within the bounds of Eastmorland and has paid their ECA membership dues may apply for funding. Funds will not be allocated to activities that are deemed to be to the detriment of the public good. If awarded, funds are used at your discretion for supplies needed for your community building program or initiative. Examples of appropriate programming include, but are not limited to, social events (such as block parties) or service events (such as park clean ups or greenspace plantings).

Greener ECA Grant:
As of 2024, the ECA will reward dollars to Eastmorland community initiatives that support greener growth in our neighborhood (or directly connected to it via schools or streams). We’d like to solicit project requests to support ideas large and small. A few ideas below…
Does the school garden need some revitalization with plants or tools?Could a community garden or City public space benefit from a pollinator-friendly planting?Think one of our neighborhood or city park signs would benefit from some new flowers?Does your neighborhood or Starkweather Creek cleanup team deserve pizza and ice cream post trash pick-up?Want to canvas the neighborhood with information on how lawn and mosquito sprays are just not friendly for people, pets, or pollinators?Think a neighborhood garden educational tour with free plants for all attendees might inspire more community connection and cultivation?
