Results to be shared June 9

The ECA Board of Directors will hold a virtual (Zoom) online meeting on Tuesday June 9, to elect officers from within the new board members and conduct a regularly scheduled ECA meeting.

Directors are elected by the public/neighborhood. According to ECA Bylaws, officers are elected by directors from among the directors.

Relevant sections of the ECA By-Laws

6.01 Board Membership The board of directors is responsible for the functioning of Eastmorland Community Association, including all administrative and corporate duties. The board of directors consists of a minimum of four and a maximum of 9 people. Directors must be association members who live in the neighborhood. A business owner who does not live in the neighborhood may not be a director. Directors are elected or appointed for two-year staggered terms. There is no limit to the number of consecutive terms a director may serve.

6.03 Duties of Directors Members of the Board of Directors are expected to: 1) Attend association meetings 2) Serve on one of the standing committees 3) Keep informed of the association’s activities and operations
